After flooding the internet for ages either through quality memes or acid-electro breakbeats, it seems Marino got up on the wrong side of the web a couple years ago. Since then, the Nantes-based producer has ditched shitposting and mutated into the ultimate version of himself: marino2 - a project where every track hits like a jackhammer.

First came a mini LP on Lyon-own Big Science Records (June 2024), blending abrasive bass music, dark downtempo, mutant dancehall and raw industrial whirlings. More recently, with the ‘AS_FWD’ EP on useless seconds (November 2025), he dove head-first into the dubstep and psy-steppers wobbling game, exhaling a thick cloud of smokey trap on his ever-shapeshifting sound.

Overdriven by devastating halftime rhythms, he has now taken things to the stage with his first live act - and Fitzroy in Berlin or Essaim in Paris can confirm it: marino2 isn’t mellowing out anytime soon!
