Every now and then, bass music coughs up something that feels slightly wrong in the best possible way. georg-i has been doing exactly that for years: taking the genre’s most familiar codes and bending them until they squeal, using an impeccable sound design to shape forms that feel unstable, lopsided, and permanently on edge. His tracks hit hard, then veer off, collapsing into digressions, they feel closer to schizophrenic crisis than dancefloor uplifting tools.

Enter Older Brother, a Lisbon-based lyricist whose voice doesn’t so much sit on the music as seep into it. His delivery is dry, intimate, almost intrusive - half muttered confession, half poisoned monologue - turning rhythm into something introspective.

Their EP Warm Skin, released in October 2025 on Berlin’s GRACE, sounds like bass music after hours: stripped of optimism, heavy with tension, hovering between trip-hop intimacy and the cold efficiency of dark, modern club aesthetic. Post-punk unease, dubwise tensions and fractured beats grind together, refusing release. Their live act for the festival should sound just the same: unconventional yet seductive; deliberately unresolved and heady, let’s bet their music will stay under your skin way longer than expected!
